So we have a network set up between our desktop computer and two laptop computers.
Mainly because we want access to our photos (which are housed on the desktop) from any computer. Also my DVD burn is bad on my desktop so I "share" my scrapbooking folders so I can back those up on my laptop.
But the thing is some of my kit folders won't let me access them on the laptops. It will tell me "access denied, you may not have permission to view these files." How the heck can I correct this and its it something you designers "add" to your kit folders to prevent file sharing or pirating?
At first I thought it was a Vista thing since my desktop runs XP and Dh's laptop runs Vista...but I just tried backing them up with my laptop...which runs XP and it's still giving me that message! :glare: I only have this problem with a hand full of kits....never my pictures or my Lo's I make (PSD, TIFF or Jpeg files).
Any ideas? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance girls!!!
