Copic Markers

I know, I know, you are all digi scrappers.

I did it! I did it!!!! I bought a set of 144 Copic Ciao Markers today. I have been wanting them for so long. I found them on ebay for a SUPER price, about $200 less than retail. They are new and in the box. I can't wait for them to come home!

My Tombows are getting old and tired. I've had them for about 11 years and my CTMH markers are well, really old too! I'm so super excited about this that I had to share my joy with you all!

We are not all digi. I paper scrap too. But I have no idea what these are. Link me please? I just know I will need some. :thumbup:

Holy Cow woman!! That's nuts! What did all 4 sets cost you??

I drool over them every week on the Papertrey Ink blogs. I would LOVE to get some!

I refuse to total it up.

My markers are DEAD, seriously. I hardly have any close in my Tombows and my CTMH markers are really old and the nibs are worn out.

I needed them, I really did. :unsure:
 
That's the only reason why I haven't bought any yet, lol. So intimidated by that amount of $$ for them!!

Papertrey has started selling them in sets of 3 that complement their colors, so I think if I get any I'll start out wtih something like that, and then go from there.
 
Know what though...

If I remember correctly my complete set of Tombows was pretty damn expensive. I think it was about $300 retail, but I talked the store into giving me a discount. I think I paid total $250.

I also purchased when I was in high school a set of Prismacolor pencils. It was super expensive at nearly $200. I remember saving up for those. I still have them too!

I couldn't justify the money so I invested in an obscene amount of Promarkers which are very similar and I love them

I also love the Papertry Ink stamps and stuff so I am pleased I have found fellow followers here in digi land too :)
 
I was a Stampin' Up and a CTMH demo (different times). It's been so long since I've been in the stamp world. Over the past year I've been picking up various stamps at Michaels and Joanns.

And Deb- YES!!!! Let's get together over the summer and play!

I have a set of these as well....thanks to DH's Uni days! :thumbup:
I'm dying to get all the Copic Ciao sets, but I think DH would kill me!
 
Oh Samara!! Fun purchase!!! Don't think of the money you spent but of it being a great, long lasting investment into your sanity! LOL love to have a set of these babies too!!! and Col, I'm there with you on the buying of 3 at a time. Love papertrey ink!!
