Alright so, I get HUGE buyers remorse for anything over $100... yeah... an.y.thing. Groceries, car payment, doesn't matter... makes me sick. SoOoOo... XH is getting remarried this weekend and my P&S is shot (the LCD screen is broken and even on auto, every photo turns out white... it's older and to fix the LCD screen, Canon wanted nearly what the dang thing cost in the first place so yeah... shot)

Anyhoo... so I bought a new one. Nothin' fancy... I got this baby:


I justify it like this... this is a HUGE moment in DD's life, and since we're invited, I want to make sure that I get as many photos as I can (plus, Faith's the flower girl so yeah :wub:)

Please just tell me that's a reasonable justification. PLEASE. *sobs a little* :( LOL I'm a nerd.

Just think of all of the nice pictures you'll be able to take with it...not how much money you spent on it! I'm sure you won't regret it.

my little P&S is red too, it's just a cheap Kodak but I love having it so that I don't always have to lug my big honkin' DSLR along everywhere!
 
ok, that photo is HILARIOUS! You so shouldn't have to justify ANYTHING you buy for yourself. You're just like any other mama, and want to put everyone else first, right? You deserve a treat every once in awhile.

You HAVE to have a camera!!!

I know how you feel though...I always have that pit in my stomach whenever we go to the store and buy anything...groceries are the worse!! Don't feel bad at all...I just upgraded my camera not to long ago and the pit was HUGE that I felt...that darn thing cost as much as I make in 6 months...granted I only work about 10 hours a week!!!! I wanted to throw up when we got home!!
 
Cameras are necessary. How could you capture your children's lives without them? Don't feel bad. I prefer Canon, but the Cool Pixes are pretty cool. My cheap P&S is pink, I needed a color one, too. ;) My dh was thrilled that I chose pink. lol
 
cameras are always worth the money,lol. the memories you capture will last a lifetime! have fun with it!
 
Fabulous purchase Annie!! You def need one...and I like red too! I had to get a red Dell laptop...because it was red!!

Let me know what you think of the camera, Annie. I've been looking for a new P&S & I've been looking at that one & a Samsung.
 
Ugh....I always have buyers remorse...even for thing way less then $100 bucks. I reguarlay buy and return stuff...like stupide stuff...like a $5 shirt or $10 bra...so I feel ya baby but I will say I have never ever ever had buyers remorse on any camera purchase...especailly after I started scrapping......when I see how much my family loves looking at my pages and even just pictures....... it's worth every penny I spend omy my camera gear!!

Psst.....I have the Nikon Coolpix L16 and I :wub: it!!!!

LOL My DH got a similar Nikon P&S about 6 months ago and it's been awesome. It's so nice when you can't/won't carry a big camera around and we've been really pleased with the pictures. That picture alone has to be worth some of the purchase price, her 1st date with LOVE that one :p
 
Add one more voice to the mix, there is NOOOOOO way you can not have a camera. and besides, it is pretty cute!!!! and that picture is worth a gazillion words--too cute!!!
