Wanna have a little get-together in Vegas?

Seriously!!! Okay, so here's the thing. DH & I (along with my parents, brother, SIL & nephew) are taking a road trip this summer. We're gonna be in Vegas for a couple of days. So, I was thinking. Maybe one evening, either Mon or Tues, June 29th or 30th, we could get together for dinner. I don't drink or gamble or anything like that, so not like go clubbing or partying...just dinner. lol But, anyway. I'd LOVE to meet some of y'all & just hang out!
 
Gugs, we might actually be in Lancaster for like a day, but it'd be the Sunday before Vegas & we'd be in church for part of the day & traveling the rest.
 
Ooooohhhh...this might be the perfect time! My parents will be here the week before, but they'll be gone by then. We could meet up somewhere and carpool out there! (been looking for a good road trip to take my new ride out on!!)
 
Yeah! :) We're going for my brother's wedding in Fresno. And, he wants us to see their apartment in Lancaster!
 
Deb - love to, but I think our dates just miss :( - we'll be in Las Vegas for my family reunion Friday, June 26th and leaving the morning of Monday, June 29th...

however... Vegas has tons of Really Great Deals now ladies! especially if you come in on Monday - Tuesday!
 
Who's buying my ticket? You know you want my crazy ass there :w00t: LOL I'd SO love to go if 1) I could find something to do with the kids and 2) I could afford it. :(

I totally hear ya. I've done it before, and it was miserable. Even at night, it's a 100 degrees!

If it's for a few days, dinner with the gals, and sitting by the pool during the day with a tropical drink...scrapping at night in my airconditioned room....sounds good to me.

seriously my parents have a house 10 mins from the strip. anybody wanna stay with me?
 
Yes, Fizz! You have to come!! :) I don't think we're gonna be going through CO anymore. So, you have to come to Vegas! lol Yeah, it'll be crazy hot, but we had to plan around the wedding. lol
 
Hmmm....my in-laws live in Henderson.

Now if I could just convince Andrew that I need time away while he works from home and takes care of the hooligans for me...
 
Oh I'd love to pop to Vagas for the weekend and dinner.... but I think my DH and bank manager would kill me between them.

I really hope some of you do get together - such a nice idea.

Sara I was just nosing as to why you were posting to a thread about a meet up in Las Vegas :blink: It would cost slightly more than I have in my saving for a rainy day money bank!!
 
I know Andrea, I know - but don't you just wish????

I went there once when I finished uni - amazing place to go for a couple of days -totally not like anything we have over here. I walked around with my mouth open most of the time, gawking at everything - I practically had 'tourist' tatooed on my forehead.
 
I'm with Annie - no money for a ticket and no place to stash the kiddos.

Maybe we should form our own get together for all the MN & WI chickies.
