Parasailing...

Have any of you ever been parasailing??? There's a little company here at the beach where we are that does it every afternoon. I've always wanted to do this, but have never had the chance. My dad actually said he'd pay for it if I'd do it (crazy, right?!?), but now DH is being all chicken. I guess I'd be going up alone, even though I REALLY want him to do it with me. Anyway, I'm rambling, lol. Just tell me all about it! :D:D:D
 
yep, I've been... and I'll never do it again. LOL I did a page about my husband doing it, but I didn't tell about how I was the one that was all fired up to do it... and then hated it. I nearly vomited. It was so freaky being up so high. never again, never again. LOL

I went parasailing in Mexico when I was... uh... 16? It was a blast and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Do. It.
 
DH & I went when we were in the South of France in Cannes forever ago! It was a total blast! I say DO IT!!!!!!!!:thumbup:
 
I've always wanted to do it but I am terrified of heights (and water with fish in it) so I probably never will. BUT, I say go for it Jen!!! :)
 
I too, am terrified of heights, but I did it, I loved it and I'd do it again! I say go for it!!! :thumbup:
 
Yes, I think it is fun and not scary at all. You are totally safe and can see so far.

DO it! It's so much fun. We did it in Hawaii...my only suggestion is to not make a big deal about them bringing you down for a dip in the water...I swear all the guys that run those things get off on soaking you if they know you don't want to get wet. LOL
 
We did it in Mexico a few years ago and LOVED it! It's so different than what I was expecting. I would love to do it again. :)
 
I haven't read the other responses, but DO IT!!!! It is so amazing... so peaceful... so quiet... ESPECIALLY if someone else is going to pay for it!
 
Do it Jennifer! You will regret the missed opportunity later!
And maybe after your DH sees you do it, he'll do it just so he won't be outdone. That's what mine would do anyway!
