I toss it...I can't stomach white milk (it really makes me nauseated), but the little bit on cereal doesn't bother me. Whatever is left over goes down the sink, though...

It depends..on the cereal.

If it's not sweet/I've eaten it quickly, so that the milk doesn't taste sweet, I drink it.

If it has turned sweet because the cereal is sweet or I got distracted and it sat there for a bit, I don't.

I only like my milk skim and really cold...not tasting like someone put a teaspoon of sugar in it and let it sit.

I ask because one of my husband's biggest pet peeves with me is that I refuse to drink cereal milk. I think it tastes gross and it bugs him that I toss it. I argue that *I* don't make *him* eat/drink something that *he* finds gross, so he shouldn't bother *me* about the cereal milk.

ooo. i voted drink it cause if i do eat cereal i treat myself to lucky charms. rarely do i eat the healthy cereal i like. i just forget. so in the case of lucky charms i drink it. if it was my kashi go lean...i would not drink it.

Eeeew. Toss it. UNLESS, I've had something super chocolatey... like Chocolate Rice Krispies.... they make it chocolatey milk so then I'll drink it. Any other non-chocolate cereal and I toss it.

Sometimes I drink it. Usually I use it instead of 'new' milk in my next cup of coffee. I eat honey nut cheerios so it adds a bit of sweetness to the coffee...

you know, in case those 2 spoons of sugar I also add to the coffee aren't enough...:D

I can take it or leave it, usually.

But my husband definitely drinks his, which is totally fine, of course. BUT...

then he goes to the sink and fills it with tap water (without rinsing it, mind you) then DRINKS it! Yuckity, yuck, yuck, yuck!

In his defense though, he does it because he lived in the Philippines for 2 years and clean water was hard to come by there so he calls it "not wasting water," which is fine, but I couldn't do it.

I chose neither because I give it to my cats. I dont have alot left because I dont like wasting it so I add just enough to get the cereal wet and might have a few tablespoons (like 2 maybe 3) left after I get done eating my cereal. Alot of times I eat my cereal dry though

Well I don't have a vote in this race since I eat my cereal dry but I know I've never seen my DH drink the milk out of the bowl. I'm guessing he either dumps the extra out or has just the right amount of milk to cereal.
