Some how or another, I am subscribed to someone's album. Every time they upload a lo, I get notified about it. How do I change that?

I'm just guessing what's happening here, but click on the UserCP link up above, and then go down to list subscriptions. You should be able to edit it there, so somewhere with there!

Try going to the gallery and clicking Profile. There's an option for List Subscriptions, see if it's listed there. I didn't realize we could even subscribe to someone's album here. :D

when you are in the gallery, under photo options (where you would add a layout to your favorites) there's a spot that says email updates. So I would venture to guess that maybe you were trying to add one layout to your faves and accidentally clicked that. So maybe go back to that persons gallery , pick a page and choose email updates and see if you can "undo it"?

Nope, not there either. I didn't realize we could either until I had 3 comments that this person had uploaded new lo's. :D Not that I mind knowing, but I just don't need to know about all of them!! He, he!!

NOpe, Amy, that didn't work ... although I did just subscibe to someone's lo to receive email's from that lo ... ugh ... LOL! ;)

oh yikes..so now we know how it happens. Just not how to UNhappen it? LOL I added cindy's gallery and that's fine with me,cause I stalk her pages, rofl. But I really wonder how you UN-enable it? I'll ask Robin....

Oh! It sounds like you added someone as a buddy in your gallery! That will give you messages saying that _______ has uploaded a new layout...

Yes, that is it!! BUT, I don't know how I did it or how to undo it!!

Okay here's how you fix it:

Go to the gallery and on the bar that says "My Photos, My Favorites" there is also a link that says Profile. Click it, and it will take you to your profile page (lol). Under your avatar, click Buddies. From there, click the person you want to unlink from. When her profile pulls up, there is an option that says "Remove from Buddy List". Click it and your done! You won't get messages anymore!

I hope no one gets offended but I'm removing everyone that is on my buddy list. LOL I have over 3000 messages that people have uploaded layouts. :blink:

it's not your buddy list, Julie. It's your gallery buddy list. 2 different lists.

it's not your buddy list, Julie. It's your gallery buddy list. 2 different lists.

lol ya. don't delete your forum buddies silly head. just your gallery buddies.

O.k, are you joking or do you know it is you?!?:o If it makes you feel better, I did this in another gallery and it is my best friend. I don't want her notices either. LOL!!
