lol the lady @ the pharmacy officially thinks I'm on crack..

ce and I are still miserable (he's getting a little better, I am getting worse).. So I decided to suck it up and go to the drug store and get some real medicine- not just htat cough syrup that his pedi gave us (which was really doing not much but making us loopy.. and it's all gone now ). So I grab the triaminic flu- because I figure.. that covers all of my symptoms- and ce has the same thing I do, so we'll go for it. Except it's for 6-12 yr olds (I don't dare EVER take adult medicine.. in about an hour if anyone is talking to me.. you shall know why. cold medicine makes me i.n.s.a.n.e. and this is just a childrens dose ^_^ ) anywayyyyyyyyyyy.... I am so sick and like practically delirious.. so I lean over the counter.. and tried to explain to her that I needed medicine that the both of us could use.. except it kept coming out all garbled.. the poor girl was so confused she had to go get someone else to help ^_^.. then I just started repeating he's 5 and handed them the box LOL...
Pleaseeeeeee someone make me feeeel better!! :[

btw.... the entire time ce has been sick. he's been running around the flipping house (or where ever we are) like a freakin maniac. I swear this kid has more energy when he's super sick than any normal human should.

(My DS is like that too - took him this winter to the doctor to figure out why he kept running a fever but had no symptoms. The child had the FLU! Didn't stop him though.)

I'm so sorry to hear you are still feeling so bad!!

If I remember right my oldest was given Naldecon (I think that is the name of the cough syrup) and he went nuts...he was literally bouncing off the walls. I had to just hold him for several hours until it got out of his system.
