What a great buy I got today!

I started watching a few of the reruns of Gilmore Girls...had never caught it when it was on TV because I thought it might not be appropriate for my pre-teens...but I had taped a few of the episodes in the last week and watched several last night while the guys were bowling...I got instantly hooked with the humor and fast chat between the mom and daughter...

Well I decided I wanted to buy at least a season or two of the Gilmore Girls... I got a coupon in e-mail from Borders books...for 40% off one item...so off I went to the store...

They had the COMPLETE Series of 7 seasons for $259 ... I asked if I could use the coupon and they said SURE! I paid $155 for it...saved $104 off the price!!! WOW! $22 per season is what it came out to be...

Well now you know what I will be doing every Thursday night while the guys are at bowling league...I'll be having my own chick flick night! Woo hoo!

...now hopefully dh won't have a cow...

LOL, good luck with that!

Well he just called and decided easier to tell him over the phone than in person...I started out with "oh guess what...I bought myself something today"...he says "oh you did?"...I said "yeah and it was kinda expensive"...and he says "and I bet you found it on sale for a really good price"...I told him no it was actually retail...but with a 40% off coupon it saved him some big bucks. lol Guess he is ok with it.

I can't wait for some ME time so I can sit and watch this show.

That's awesome! DH and I loved that show, but I don't think I watched much of the last couple seasons (don't remember why...just didn't).

Anyone have this big pack? It''s funny...reminds me of a Barbie playhouse as it folds out...and there are 2 extra "books/mags" in the box...one tells about the episodes and has pics from the show...and the other book references all the shows they reference in the series (different shows)....I feel like I'm a teenager looking at TEEN magazine or something. LOL

Loved Gilmore Girls. I was kinda disappointed in how it ended. I kinda felt like it could have gone for at least one more season.

Have fun watching! That's my all time favorite show. I have all the seasons on DVD, but I bought them one at a time.

Yes, I can believe it LOL...I've still never seen an episode! When it first came on the air, there was a big hubbub at the school I was teaching at because Alexis Bledel went to school there (years before I was there). I guess some people thought that was really neat...LOL, it didn't impress me enough to get me to sit down and watch the show.

I love that show. Even my teenage son does (even tho he won't publically admit it). LOL

Great buy! Borders does those 40% off coupons pretty often - my sister and I used one to get my mom the entire collection of Little House on the Prairie for Christmas and saved a bundle! Have fun watching!

Ah, great buy! I love that show! I didn't have the WB when this was airing so I didn't get to see any of it really. I recently netflixed all the seasons and I enjoyed them so much! I was sad to finish the series. I'd love to buy the series someday so I could watch any of them any time I want.

Great buy indeed!! I love this show! I can still watch it - over and over LOL - everyday 8:00am @ Warner channel. I'm so lucky!! LOL
