We eat around 5:30 since Logan goes to bed around 7:30-8pm. My son's girlfriend's family eats around 8pm so Jacob will sometimes have 2 dinners. LOL But he is a 17 year old boy and they can just eat like crazy. :p

I like to have dinner on the table between 6 and 7. Usually it's closer to 7. If we wait on dh to eat, it's closer to 8. I hate to eat that late because by the time we get dinner over with, it's bedtime.

if the kids eat at my mom's, they eat between 4:30-5. If they eat at home, it's between 6-7. Most nights, I either do not eat dinner, or I eat with Jeff, which could be anywhere from 6-10 pm.

I voted 7-8 because that's when we eat MOST of the time, especially in the summer. However, I would LOVE to be able to have dinner done by 6. It's just not possible for me most of the time since I work out of town and don't get home until about 5:30 most nights.

I voted 5-6PM, but most nights it's 5:30PM on the dot!! Any later and I don't have time to clean up and bath the kids before their 8PM bedtime!! Oh and like Jamie...we eat whether DH is home or not....he's a grown man....he can fend for himself!!! But he is usually home by 5:30PM!!

summer time usually means later meals for us too....the kids are out running the neighborhood with friends or we hang at the pool till almost dark too. But dinners tend to be lighter in the summertime too so that helps.

wow! I feel like 6:30 is late for dinner and most of you eat later than that! I don't like to eat late because the kids go to bed between 7:15 and 7:30 and also, I don't want to eat too close to when I go to bed.

We eat about 5:30. Shane is usually home around that time and that's when dinner is *usually* ready because I'm STARVING by then!

Dinner is usually on the table at 6:30. DH works until 6 & gets home about 20 minutes later. If I know a head of time he isn't going to be home until late, the boys & I might eat around 5:30-6, depending on when snack time was.

Well, here's a different story. The usual dinner time to everyone it's a number between 7-8.

Our meals are like this: morning tea (= breakfast 6-7), morning snack (9-10), lunch (most important meal of the day 12-13), afternoon tea (4-5), dinner (7-8) and before bed (= supper; this is optional, usually people who stay awake late at night have this - milk + cookies or something like that... )

DD have her bedtime at 8-8:30. So I have dinner with her 5-5:30. Usually DH leave his job 5-6, so he's not at home for dinner with us most of the days... :(

I like to have dinner ON THE TABLE by 6pm..my kids just fall apart if we're any later than that. I do wait on my dh so if he's working late, then I feed the kids and just eat with him later.

I voted between 4-5. We have to eat earlier on the 3 nights I work.
Our little boys go to bed between 7-7:30 so we have to eat a bit earlier for them too. I feel bad because their liitle friends all eat later, when we are done and go out to play. Occasionally we won't eat until 5:30-6:00 but usually by 5 we are done.
