I got some photo masks from another store and Im not sure how you use them in PSP. Ive used them in the past kinda like templates and set the layer to like overlay or hard light or whatever but Im not sure if that is the way you are supposed to do it. Anyone know how and can give me an idea if Im doing it wrong or if tehre is a tutorial?

I don't have this script (yet, must say... LOL), so, I do this way:
Right Click on the layer I want to do the mask
Then "New Mask Layer"
Then "From Image"
In "Source window" you choose the mask image
Click "OK"
Done
Make sure the option "Source Opacity" (the last one) is the one selected.

You can "merge" the group of layers which was created by right clicking and choosing "Merge -> Merge Group"

OMGosh that is the coolest thing ever!! I never could get mine to look quite right so I never used them all that often. Now another question when you use a mask like that do you add a drop shadow or no? Im never quite sure if you should or not

Download that script and be in love. The fabulous Lena pointed me to it and now I can use maskes and it makes it so much easier to use templates.

With a mask, no. Blending can be done though, but a dropshadow, no.

And isn't that the most fabulous script?!?! I seriously whip through templates now. I love it.
