into the container.

You might miss the bucket and ping your son in the head and he might start bleeding profusely all over his face, clothes and rug which might warrant a visit to the Dr's office!!

Just thought I should warn you!! LOL!!

(He is fine - no stitches/glue needed!!)

Holy crap - it CUT him?! Poor kiddo! I've thrown legos lots of times without incident, but I'm now adding this to my mental list, lol...

Yup, small cut - the Dr. said that the corner of the Lego probably hit him and cut him. It was bleeding like crazy all over the place which put me in a complete panic!! When I was finally able to look at the cut it was small, but deep!

My friend had to get stitches in her knee after she fell on a Lego, they are dangerous! LOL

Glad he's ok though Sam!

PS, where have you been woman?

Wow thanks for the warning! I don't know how many times I have tossed LEGO bricks into the containers! I'm glad he's going to be ok...just surprising that did that!

I once tossed soem toys into my childrens bedroom. One of them was this little vibrating bus which was soft plastic (it was made for infants) but the wheels on the bus were hard and when I tossed it it bounced up and hit my daughter in the corner of her eye and cut her. She was ok too. I felt horrible. The day it happened when my husband called frrom work she got on the phone and told him "Mommy threw a bus at me and gave me a boo-boo on my face" Like I didnt feel bad enough already LOL. She still says I threw the bus at her to this day!! (I defenitely didnt. I didnt even realize she was sitting there. I was cleaning and tossed the toys into the toybox or so I thought I did)

LOL, Jessica...it's funny how kids remember things their own way. And some toys are just made stupid, lol...we had this soft Cookie Monster toy when Mas was a baby, it had a shoelace to tie, zipper, crinkly piece, etc. Anyway, my FIL was playing with him and hit him in the head with it playfully - but the eyes were hard plastic and of course they are what hit him first instead of the rest of the soft body. He cried pretty hard about that one - and my FIL still feels bad about it!

LOL!! My son kept saying the same thing!! Those Lego are dangerous! Stepping on them hurts too...OUCH!

lmao...I would totally do that. My son is obsessed with the word push. Anything that he doesn't like is pushing him. The sun is in his eyes, its pushing him, etc. Hence I hear a lot of Mommy is pushing Nicholas! Ugh, it sounds terrible.

too funny! You could always do what my mom did after and injury like that and take pictures of it. I'm sure there is an album out there filled with injury photos of me and brother!

Holy cow, Sam!!! That totally sounds like something I would do! Except then DD would pass out at seeing DS bleeding and conk her own head or worse!! We have the worst domino effect of anyone I know!!

Anyway, I'm glad it wasn't serious!

You can just add that to the list of things to have mommy guilt over!

It was real crazy! When I called the Dr's office and told them what happened, she started laughing because she said she would have probably done the same thing!

Note to self: do.not.throw.legos

it's going right next to the note on not launching matchbox cars.

Good grief those suckers hurt when you step on them!

Glad your little guy is ok, Sam!
