I finally bought an iPod. I know, so behind in the times. I need some good songs to motivate me to run faster, so I need help. I love current music and think it needs to be a bit harder to help me go faster (thus far I know 3 Days Grace's Riot will be one, but that's it). Any good suggestions?

hmm...I don't know....I don't listen to harder stuff really.....I love Chris Daughtry..... LOL!

I am more of a folky/indie type of girl. Garret listens to tons of Linkin' Park. they are harder.

I probably didn't help in the least! :D :D :D :D

I do like Linkin Park. :) I also added Drowning Pool's 37 Stitches and Buck Cherry's Crazy B**** if that helps my taste.

Here are some thoughts, most of this is current pop:

Boom Boom Pow by the Black Eyed Peas
Stronger by Kanye West
Shake It by Metro station
Let It rock by Kevin Rudolph and Lil' Wayne
Just Dance by Lady GaGa
Pump It by Black Eyed Peas

I don't run so I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for.

oh I really like Love Lockdown by Kanye West....the beat is really strong so I like to listen to it while I clean and stuff. Garret doesn't like it because he says they say the same thing over and over...maybe that will be nice while running??? LOL

I am using Napster. Apparently Best Buy bought out Napster and my brother who works at Best Buy told me this was the way to go. I went with it. lol

Glad I read this thread - I'm going to check out some of these recommendations too as I am hopeless at remembering names of groups when I hear something I like. Memory of a goldfish...
