Visiting Seattle at the end of July! ~Need Suggestions!~

DH has to go to training in Seattle for 2 weeks at the end of July. And for the 2nd year it has fallen on our DS's birthday. :( But the good news is that he has booked flights for us to go up and visit for a long weekend in between his training sessions!

So, where are the best places to eat, the best things to see? And I need it all to be kid friendly too because I have 3 of them ages 4-9 that I may have to take by myself for the days DH is in training. I know about the Space Needle, Science Center, and a few others. But I guess since we are there for a short time, I want to know what we shouldn't miss!

One thing that I think is sort of uniquely Seattle is taking a ferry ride. You can take a ferry from downtown seattle to Bainbridge Island, which has some cute shops, restaurants and even a children's museum.

Have fun- there are lots of cool things to do here!
