Visiting Seattle at the end of July! ~Need Suggestions!~

DH has to go to training in Seattle for 2 weeks at the end of July. And for the 2nd year it has fallen on our DS's birthday. But the good news is that he has booked flights for us to go up and visit for a long weekend in between his training sessions! :thumbup:

So, where are the best places to eat, the best things to see? And I need it all to be kid friendly too because I have 3 of them ages 4-9 that I may have to take by myself for the days DH is in training. I know about the Space Needle, Science Center, and a few others. But I guess since we are there for a short time, I want to know what we shouldn't miss!

One thing that I think is sort of uniquely Seattle is taking a ferry ride. You can take a ferry from downtown seattle to Bainbridge Island, which has some cute shops, restaurants and even a children's museum.

Have fun- there are lots of cool things to do here!

There is the Bellevue Botantical Gardens. It's open daily, including holidays, from dawn to dusk. If anyone is ever there during the holiday season and see the amazing lights, then you've seen the work of my parents. My dad is the guy in the lower right photo.
