Since Friends debuted on NBC??? I was 20 and in college...my girlfriends and I got together every Thursday and I don't think I missed an episode for the entire 10 years it was on. I have all the seasons on DVD now too and it's my favorite thing to have on in the background when I scrap.

I think mine is the one where Joey teaches Ross to talk dirty. I can just think of that and bust up laughing. :D
 
Oh I'm right there with you, Nikki!!

I was 16 and was working after school at the video store with my soon-to-be-husband. ;) Like you, I saw every episode while it ran, and now I have the whole series on DVD and watch regularly.

My favorite line of the entire series is the one where Joey gets a job at Chandler's office, and Joey's "character" Joseph keeps getting Chandler in trouble, so Chandler tells Joey that he's having an affair with Joseph's "wife." And Joey gasps and says "REALLY?" And chandler says (wait for it....) "No freakshow! She's fictional!"

There are so many classics though...

Well now I feel old.

I was in college also. I can rememeber we wouldn't go out on Thursday nights until Friends was over. And then we would tape ER and watch it at 2 am when we got home.

lol...I was younger when it first started (14), but I still watched it a lot. I am sure there has to be a few episodes I haven't seen, but I knew all of the ones you guys mentioned.
 
My all time favorite is of course the "Piv-ot" one!! I even did a lyout here for a challenge and that was what I chose. Oh I was about 18-19 I think when the show came out but at the time I did not watch it. I got into it about half-way through the series and had to catch up on reruns later on on CW/WB

My favoritest is the episode where Rachael has her baby and all of a sudden Janice comes in and with her nasaly voice is like "OHHH MY GAWWWWD" lmao I nearly died.
 
I wouldn't answer the phone when Friends was on because I figured that anybody who would call while friends was on wasn't worth talking to in the first place. :p

Every song we make up in our family is to the tune of Smelly Cat.

I loved the one where Phoebe moves in with her cop boyfriend, and their first morning together he shoots the bird in the window. That still makes me laugh.

But I HATED how obnoxious they made Ross; he was unbearable by the end. AND, whether he officially cheated or not, IF HE HAD LOVED HER HE WOULDN'T HAVE TAKEN THE COPY GIRL HOME.
 
I LOVED Ross!! He was my absolute favorite on the whole show!! (Pheobe being second) I kinda am torn on the whole "we were on a break" thing though. They werent together for all that long and she did say she wanted to end things or whatever it was she said...he felt really bad about it afterwards.

LOL - I love that one!!

I have only really seen the last couple of seasons and lots of reruns, but I love the one where they make Thanksgiving dinner together and end up breaking all of the good china dishes.
 
LOL...I can hear Joey saying, "If I had to, I'd pee on any one of you!" Now, would you do that for a friend? Or want a friend to do what for you?

Completely random pointless trivia...the episode about Rachel's 30th birthday originally aired on MY 30th birthday.
 
This is by far the best comedy that has ever been on TV. I LOVE it! I have seen all the episodes and they are soooo flippin funny!!! I can't believe it's been that long!
 
I remember watching but it was never the must see for me until reruns but I was only 15 when it first came on so that might have something to with it. My favorite is Ross when they are breaking up again after talking about being on a break and it goes:

rachel: "we're are soooo over!"
Ross" whining whimpering sounds suddenly change to anger " Fine by me!"

Always makes me laugh!
 
I can't believe its that old - or I am, one or the other.

The Thanksgiving dinner episode (too true to life!) and anytime Joey tried his How you doin' line always made me laugh - oh, and the one where he was in the ad campaign for, I think, genital warts??

I was in love with Chandler, but I thought Ross was a pain for the final couple of seasons.
 
Friends is seriously THE BEST!! Cracks me up! One of my favorites is Smelly Cat! haha :) I think I love every character!! Now I have to go bust out my DVD's! So sad it is over!
