Need ideas for a "Who Loves Me" album...

I've been thinking about doing an album for Wes that includes pics friends and family - basically, the people closest to us. I also want to include pics of family/friends that we're close to but don't necessarily see often (people out of state, etc).

I'm envisioning an album that has one page dedicated to each family with at least one pic of each person and their name(s) - not sure about the specifics, though. I'm thinking the title will be something like "Who Loves Wesley" or something like that.

Wes is really good with names and faces, and has now started asking to see people (like yesterday he randomly asked to see his uncle, who lives in Wisconsin)... so I thought this might be a good way to keep them fresh in memory, ya know?

Has anyone done anything like this? Have any good ideas for kits to use? Any ideas/inspiration would be appreciated! Spanx!!! :p

I've seen one like this on Shutterfly's site. I've not done one but I want/need to because most of our family is out of town. I'd keep it as simple as possible and focus on the photo and name if it were me :)

Exactly! Keep it very simple. And besides the photo and name if you want to add more maybe the area where they live, and who they are to him and maybe just a little description of the times that they were together (if they were), etc.

I saw one made for little ones where they had a large pic with the first name under the pic in large letters and then a line or two about that person's favorite... whatever. Just a short fact about them. It can then become an early reader book for him around 4 or so. You could easily make this with vertical 5x7 prints, laminated back to back and bound on one side.

The lines were like this:
Cousin Mary
Mary loves ice cream.
Her daddy is Uncle Jack.

Aunty Jan
Aunty Jan lives in Miami.
Her cat's name is Pickles!

My son has one, but its just an album someone bought for him and I slide the pictures in it. This would be really great though hybrid. I would also keep it really simple and add no embellishments since Wesley is so little yet. Lamenanting would be a good idea, too, since he is young enough to get things on it.

I was thinking laminating would be good too - that way he can actually use it without fear of "breaking it" (as he says). :p

Weee! I'm excited to start on it.
