Help me please!!

For some reason all of the downloads I do will not come in a zip file anymore?! I figured out that they're opening in picaso photo viewer?! I keep searching for the zip file that they used to come in but cannot find anything!!! I really want to open some of my new purchases and can't! What do I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
 
Oh man, this kind of wacko stuff happens to me all the time. I wish I knew how to help you but normally I'm the one asking everyone these type of questions. Hopefully someone here can help ya!
 
Thank you Megan, at least I know I'm not the only one who has problems :unsure: My DH is trying to fix it for me, hopefully he can figure it out!!
 
Can you go into your Photo viewer and look for the types of files it opens and make sure .zip is unchecked
 
I had a similar problem but mine was because of some firewall/anti-virus program I had on my computer. It kept changing on the .zip files to .efw when I started the download. I was able to fix it though. I just had to turn it off when I was downloading OR rename the file extention to .zip

not sure what s/w ur using so may not help.

Also the efw file creation is something I get occassionally with my firewall software. Because I have a lousy memory I just search for efw problems online if I cant find how too fix it.
 
Thank you ladies...after a lot of googling I think I've fixed the problem!!! Now on to opening my new purchases!!!
