*sigh* i officially have a middle schooler.

maddie is sporting a brand new hair cut. short story long, actually (:p). on the way home maddie was in hysterics. the woman did not do the hair cut she wanted AT ALL. maddie was crying so hard and rightfully so. it was no bueno, she looked 7. we even went with piccies and i'm super good at explaining cuts to people. anywho...we get home she is super upset, still bawling and i go to town with the scissors (kindergarten round edged scissors, mind you.) i cut big chunky layers in it, huge giant bangs, we wash it and i restyle it and she's in love. she cried again, just as hard, but this time they were tears of happiness. isn't she a dolly?! she looks too big though. no bueno. :p

I KNOW!!!!!! seriously. thankfully she has her head screwed on right and is so focused on school and stuff but ya...it's not gonna be pretty in 4 or 5 years when she wants to date. dennis is going to have a stroke.

I can 1-up you, Lizzy. Avery is starting high school. I just sat and bawled the other night thinking about it. I only have 4 more years with her at home--it doesn't seem like enough time to make sure I've geared her up in every possible way to fly off and be an adult. Geesh. I'm crying again.

She's absolutely adorable! I work in a middle school and IMO she'll fit right in!

My son is going to be a senior this year and I can't figure out for the life of me how we got to this point so fast!
 
So are these the pics you sent?! Cause I LOVE it!!!! She's soooo cute! You did such an awesome job for her! And yeah...she needs to be locked up! that's nutso! lol!
 
awww I know how she feels!! I cant count how many times Ive had a bad cut cause the stylist does not listen :-( She looks great though!!

(oh my oldest starts her senior year in August and my youngest is starting middle school this year also!! I dont really have any babies at home anymore)

Lizzy she is so darling! Now the time starts when you have to beat all of the boys away from your sweet little girl! She really is stunning, and great job with the kindy scissors!! :)
 
oh wow what a super cute hairdo Lizzy! I need you to come do my girls hair now lol! And I feel your sadness - mine is going into 8th grade and we are already looking at the high schools for her (she goes to private schools) - seems like they grow so fast!
