I got a $50 gift card for my bday yesterday from my FIL and I have no clue what to do with it! We have used Amazon a million times before... for books, movies, appliances, etc... but I want something for me, something fun. Any suggestions? I am open to ANYTHING. I haven't ruled out books or movies by the way, I just don't know what I'd get.

There are alot of fun scrapbooking inspiration books on there. I have Scrapbooking Friends & Family, Award-Winning Scrapbook Pages, 501 Great Scrapbook Page Ideas, The Ultimate Guide To the Perfect Word and The Amazing Page. The Ultimate Guide To The Perfect Word is AWESOME!!!! It has titles, quotes, words for different subjects....it is relatively inexpensive. I got mine from the craft store but I think on Amazon it would be much less then full price

Vinnie Pearce has a scrapping book that's supposed to be really good! :) I haven't gotten it yet though. Maybe a new purse of some kind. I ♥ purses! Could buy them all day long! GL and have fun shopping! Let us know what you decide on!

I have a HUGE list of books on my Amazon wishlist so that's probably what I'd spend my $$ on but here are a few other ideas:
new outfit
cute new purse
cute pair of shoes (or two or three lol)
some new music (either CD's or they have a huge MP3 selection)
a new kitchen gadget or something for the house
also you can shop Target through Amazon so that adds a ton of possibilities (just search Target corporation and it will come up)

oh! You should totally get the Cuisinart Ice Cream maker! I got it for my birthday and I ♥ it! It's sooo easy and the ice cream is sooo yummy! :D

I'd go with something fanciful like an ice cream maker, too! Or a new knife or some new silpats or other kitchen gadgets that I normally don't get but DESIRE lol.

I'd definitely go for books! I have a list a mile long and reading is my "me" time : )

I don't think I would EVER be in your situation, as I always have a wishlist a mile long at Amazon. :) But please splurge and get something for yourself that you wouldn't normally get, even just so the rest of us who don't have a giftcard can vicariously live through you. :) Have fun shopping!

thanks for the ideas! you reminded me I do have a wishlist, I'll have to check it out!
I actually got my hubby an ice cream maker for his bday several months ago (which he loves and uses all the time)... but something like that is a great idea! I'll have to look around! Thanks guys. :)
I used to read ALL the time, but since having Sadie I haven't been reading much and when I do read, I usually get it from the library. My hubby buys us all the really good books we want to read. But maybe it would get me back into it!

Do you have any desire to get a tablet? I have this one (http://www.amazon.com/Bamboo-Small-Pen-Tablet-Only/dp/B000V9T2JA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1247851764&sr=8-1). It's $5 over your price range - but could be fun.
I am embarrassed to admit mine is still in the box - so maybe you don't want to take my recommendation too seriously :P

Taking Flight by Kelly Rae Roberts is a wonderful book...I have three of her prints framed in my craft room. She's a wonderful writer.

A chick flick?
The tablet is a good idea! (Sandy needs to pull hers out and play with it...mine is sitting next to my laptop!)
software?
a filter for your camera?
A "season" for a favorite TV on DVD series?
I think I would buy that M*A*S*H shirt I have had my eye on!
