My baby girl is wearing me OUT!

So she started crawling last week or so right and then right after that she started trying to pull up which she is now doing about a million times a day but she's still so wobbly that she falls. So far today she has managed to bump her head 2 times, scratch her neck on one of her toys that she pulls up on, and smash her fingers in a drawer on the cabinet that hold all our tv stuff. I have slowly added plastic bins to literally barricade my living room so she can't climb on or get around things she doesn't need to. But she's figured out how to push one of them out of the way so she manages to get into the dining room and then she gets under my dining room table where I have to crawl under there to get her..................ahh!!!! She's only 7 months old!!!! lol!

DS was such a laid back baby..he was so calm and easy going and she hits the floor running in the mornings and only stops to literally crash for naps during the day and for bed at night. Right now she's trying to climb from DS's Anywhere chair onto the couch so I have to get up and go get her again lol

ohh gosh i sooo hear you!!

One of the best things we did was got a little climber thing that we have indoors (and for outdoors but we just use it indoors) Has a climber and then a little slide. Before that he was trying to climb up on everything and it wasn't safe. It did a world of good to just give him that chance to get active and worn out when we don't have the chance to get outside (since this summer seems to be all about the rain lol)..might be a bit too young for it yet but just to prepare you for later on cause it will just keep getting more fun ;) LOL

I am so there with you Nikki! We never needed a baby gate with Emma, never needed to child proof stuff, she never climbed on anything...Madelyn is the complete and total opposite. The kid seriously wears me out. She gets herself in situations that she can't get out of...and then cries! LOL I'll give you fair warning that it only gets more, um, fun!

I hear ya...she's just so full of excitement...like she can't explore this world fast enough you know? and she's already started bothering her big brother...I heard my first "Mamaaaa...Ella's got my _____" today :)

Here she is in action earlier (she's napping now that's why I'm able to sit here)...

"what...I'm not doing anything..I'm not bothering Avery"

I'm right there with ya. The boys were watching a video a few minutes ago, and I sat down to try to scrap a page. Ha! I got up to move Lauren away from the lamp several times, then I blocked it off. Then I had to go get one of the boys' toys away from her. A minute later it was up again to stop her from pulling a toy on the coffee table down on herself. Then she was pulling up on a ride-on and I had to move her. And on, and on. I think I managed to place a title and nothing more during the 30 minute video. This is exactly what DS1 was like, so I know what's coming...

Nikki, we need to get our babies together. Alexis started pulling herself up a few days ago and that's all she wants to do now. And man she is a fast crawler. She was wobbly just a few days ago and now crawls like a pro.

Wow! Sounds like you've really got your hands full! Enjoy this time, though, because before you know it she'll be driving, working 80 miles away and having her Sr. Grads taken in a month! (yup, that's my life :( )

Oh, I am so not ready for that yet. Emily is already 4 months old and I can already tell she is going to be a busy body. Austin was so calm and easy going and Emily will be the opposite, I almost think it would have been better to have the easy going baby last :)
