Bizarre...

I just called the doctor's office to confirm my appointment...apparently they've decided to go digital as well, lol. "If you'd like to book an appointment with dr ____ please press 1, if you'd like to book an appointment with dr _____ please press 2".

Except the problem was...there was 7 options and none of them applied to me...also there is no "press __" for MY doctor, lmao.

WTH? Now I have to call back because in my confusion at the end, I just randomly hit a number and got voicemail, lol...

Funny thing is that the way it's set up, it's the main receptionist's voice and she says "Good morning" then a pause...I fell for it...TWICE and started talking, only to have her keep going. Doh!

I hate those auto-call things! What's worse are the ones that when you call customer service, they want you to say your responses. I hate Hate HATE those! I have such a hard time with those because they can never recognize what I'm saying with my jabber-jaws 4-year-old talking in the background! lol!

I've found the way around those is to say "I don't know, I don't know, I don't know" and it's the equivalent of pushing 0, lol...

LOL Ive never tried "I dont know" for those automated ones. When I call my bank the dang thing is so sensitive even breathing into the phone sets it off. Then it starts with "Im sorry I didnt recognize you response. Did you want ***** (whatever random dept it thinks I wanted)

Totally insane! I agree with pressing zero...
