I found out today that my 12 year job doing medical transcription will come to an end on 8/1. I am just devastated and scared and have really just been borderline.......something. I don't know what the word for it is since thursday. I found out for sure today my job is gone and it's all I've done in years and years and all I am qualified for. I don't know what to do but I could use your prayers if you pray. I just wanted to let ya'll know if I'm scarce for a little bit that's why :(

Oh Amy, I'm so sorry :( Is it all jobs like that or just the one you were doing? Would you be able to switch and do it for someone else? Will be praying for you.

I'm sorry to hear that, Amy. I recently went through a job change myself and I know how scary and demoralizing it can be. It's normal to feel the way you are feeling, so give yourself a little time to recover and then decide what to do next. (((Hugs!)))
 
I'm so sorry you're going through this right now...my thoughts and prayers will be with you as you see what the next chapter of your life is going to be.
 
I'm so sorry. I'll be praying and sending job vibes your way. Is there a lot out there for Med Trans? I hear from those who have been doing it that there is a lot of work but then I also hear from those that are brand new that they can't find anything.
