Bummin'....

I'm so bummin' today!!!!!!!! Nick had to go back to work after having a 4-week paternity leave! So I'm not only sad because I miss him, but I'm overwhelmed because I have my 4 year old and my 3 week old to take care of by myself for the first time!

Well, it's actually been like 2nd nature taking care of the two of them, and luckily Nick gets home in an hour... but I have 2 more days this week to feel the same until he has the weekend off! I'm guessing next week will be just fine and it'll be normal.

I've surprised myself though, I've been able to get a lot done around the house now that they're napping! Woo hoo! :thumbup: I still miss Nick though!

Both of them napping at once sounds like a huge success to me!! :thumbup:

Defenitely!! I used to miss my hubby to when he would leave for work but since he has been out for so long I dont ever get the chance to miss him...he is always here!! LOL Hope you have a good rest of the week and the weekend hurries up and gets here

Wow - 4 weeks paternity leave?! That's awesome! Sounds like you're doing great if they're both napping and you're getting things done!

Wow is right! My dh never even got one day of paternity leave!

It is overwhelming though...don't try to do too much.

We were lucky that he had some vacation time he could use! It was great having him home to help out, especially since I had a c-section and had a bit longer recovery time.

I was hoping & praying they'd end up taking a nap at the same time and they are! Well, my son was trying to fall asleep earlier but I made him stay up so he'd take his nap at the same time as my daughter. lol. It worked though and success!

Congratulations on getting them to nap at the same time and I hope you're having a good night now that your hubby is home!

That was awesome that your hubby got time off. My hubby didn't, he only did had a couple personal days to stay with me while I was in the hospital. But I remember so well how hormonal I was and how badly I wanted my husband there.

I must say WOW to you having them both nap at the same time. Ummm, when my kids were 4 naps totally ENDED! So congrats on that!
