I am sooo excited! I would like to announce that I am only 5 lbs. away from being my pre-pregnancy weight and it's only been a month!!!! Woot!!! So far I've lost 22 pounds! My OB is very impressed!

And now that I'm feeling recovered from the c-section, I can exercise more than before, and that means I'll lose even more weight, even faster! And I nurse my daughter, so as she gets bigger and the amount she eats increases, the weight will drop off even better with that! (since breast-feeding burns an extra 500 calories a day!)

I am so excited! Did I mention that? lol!

Note to self: Have a kid to lose these extra pounds.

Kiddinggggggggggggggggggggggggg. sorta.

That's awesome though Rachel! Way to go!! I'm still fighting the wedding weight loss battle, I know how exciting it can be to lose some weight.

You go girl!

I too just lost 30 pounds- by laying my daughter down for a nap- LOL! I need to work on it... I lost it immediately with my first kiddo, now almost 4 years after my second was born, I still have some "baby weight"...

Congrats! That's fantastic. With my first 2 I lost it all by 6 weeks, but this time the weight just didn't want to come off. DD is 7 months old, and I'm finally only 2 lbs away.

Unfortunately, for me it isn't the pregnancy weight that's the problem. It's the "post-kids" weight. I've gained a lot since having kids, but it isn't from the pregnancies. I'm working on it, so hopefully I won't have to say that for too much longer.

LOL--I need to use that sometime!

Congrats!! That is great! It took me 9 months to get back to pre-preg weight... but I gained 15 of that back. :( *wah* I need to lose 20 pounds before I'll feel good about my body again.

CONGRATS!!!!

*wondering if breasting feeding my husband would yield the same results.... hmmmm....*
Yeah, that totally works! Just ask my husband :p

Congrats on losing your weight! Hopefully the last 5 come off quickly too. I gained 29lbs with both of my pregnancies, but I'm still up 5lbs from my pre child weight (which I guess isn't so bad since my metabolism hit a road block, lol).
