DOOM! I tells ya

Man - I got all worked up....and it was a big let down :p. It ended up going south of us...but still a strange system to be coming from the direction it is. We're getting a bit of rain and stuff, but no big boom to end the evening.

It hit us!!! We got lots of rain and thunder out of it. The power went out for a bit (but it seems like it always does when we get storms). It hit really fast and hard though.

We were also awakened by the tornado sirens going off at 5:00am the other morning when that huge line of storms went through (was that Wed or Thurs?).

Don't you just love that? I'm glad we have them, but I might as well forget sleep if those sirens go off. Hubby glances at the news and goes back to sleep while I stay glued to the TV until the storm is out of the area.
 
Ended up being a nice thunderstorm around here last night (sw Ft. Worth area) and there's another one it looks like headed this way. Our neighbor had better hurry and finish up his mowing!! :-)
