not all of it, and not to her scalp or anything, just the sides i think. she got my scissors from my craft drawer. they know my stuff is off limits! its wet right now; won't be able to tell how bad til it dries. from what i can see it looks like she cut it just below her ears and maybe a few pieces shorter than that. i guess i'll be taking her for a little bob hair cut with some layers? little brat. Chloe did the same thing at her age, only she cut it to the scalp, lol. she had a pixie cut forever cause that was the only thing they could do to fix it. and she still had some pieces that were way short. Aidan hasn't done it, but with him being a boy it wouldnt really matter, lol. i'm so frustrated. Emma has such pretty hair!

It's like a law of nature -- kids will cut their own hair at least once. Hope it's not too bad.

and in my oldest dd's case... 3 times and once on her sisters hair...

my youngest did her hair too.. bangs right to the scalp.. lovely! There is no fixing that!

my oldest DD did it but the other kids haven't {so far!!!}...I say so far because Abby is 3 1/2 and Peyton is 2, so I forsee at LEAST one of them doing:blink:

Oh my! I just couldn't imagine! I have a boy (who is 17 now) and he never did anything like that, and I don't think I ever did that either. I don't know how I would handle what you girls have been through. I hope they can salvage her beautiful hair tomorrow!

Well if you're my 5yo, you cut your own hair and the hair of BOTH of your American Girl Bitty Twin dolls with the help of your 5yo cousin cause you were "playing beauty shop" Her hair was pretty long at the time, we ended up cutting it short but she said she wanted short hair like her cousin so it worked out I guess! So I can totally commiserate Corey!

that is how the sides of hers looked! only like, the whole side. the back was still long, lol. i swear i'll get an after pic. i haven't had a chance to get on the computer; dh hogs it all. my laptop broke, but we're getting another one next week.
