Virtual Knee Surgery

Yep, that's what the 5 year old has been playing all day long. Tabatha and I noticed that the game Tristan was playing had some odd dialogue in it about scalpels and whatnot....only to find out Tristan had clicked on a virtual knee surgery game on a free online gaming site that we let him play a motorcycle racing game at. Thing is, he played it all afternoon. :blink:

I, in reality, had BOTH of my knees totally replaced in June of 2007, and when I was researching what was going to be done to me, I came across this...it's pretty cool and quite informative! Maybe it's a sign he'll be an orthopedic surgeon when he grows up!

my students love this.. this isn't the site they use though (the one we have on campus is very child friendly). My boys always go nuts over the bones and tools.

That was fun! I liked seeing step by step what happened to my dad twice.
