I am shaking and having trouble breathing...

I think I am in withdrawal. Yesterday my 30 day PSE trial ran out, and the replacement CD wont arrive FOR AT LEAST ANOTHER WEEK! Must. Keep. Breathing.

My mom sent me the registration code, so I shut down PSE to enter it in, but the code doesnt work. She had already mailed the CD, so I don't know if she wrote it down wrong or if the code only works with the CD (because of the discount she got). But the bottom line is that I CAN'T SCRAP TILL IT GETS HERE.

Isnt that the worst? No, the worst part is that my husband is gone for three weeks..THREE WEEKS of pure, uninterupted, nag free scrapping down the drain. :(

I am sure I will be productive and all, but I have so many layout ideas swirling around in my head. Anybody know if there are any free scrap programs out there???
 
I tried that, but I think it is because it is on my computer it wouldnt work. :(

I may get desperate enough to download it to my old computer. Youd *think* I could survive a week, but you would be wrong apparently.
 
You could probably get a trial of the full-version of Photoshop. I don't know if that would be more hassle than it's worth though since you'd have to learn to use it too.
 
When I was in San Diego without a computer a couple of weeks ago, dh hunted down and found me SQUARE sketchpads!! So I could sit and sketch out layouts while we were waiting in the huge long Comic Con lines.

How awesome is HE??
 
Kellie - GIMP is free It's a lot like PS, so you may not have a HUGE learning curve if the transition from PSE isn't all that bad.

Yes, you too had me worried by your title! lol Take a deep breath! Did you uninstall PSE off of you computer? That's what I used to do, install then when it ran out, uninstall & reinstall & repeat every 30 days! LOL
 
Yep, I was a bit worried when I opened the thread too :p Can you completely take it off your computer and try to get another trial??
 
Maybe you need to clear your cookies so that the PSE doesn't recognize your computer and then you could download it again. Uninstalling and reinstalling should work, too.

I think programs stick things in the registry that don't get deleted when you uninstall so it still knows you've had a trial before. Hope the week goes quickly for you! :)

Don't SCARE us like that!!! I too thought you were having a heart attack or something! (I'm shaking my mommy finger at you) :unsure:

Well if you reformat your computer...you could prob download another trial and it would work. lol ...but that's a lot of work...
 
Three weeks of uninterrupted scrapping bliss sounds like fun! I only wish I had mojo like you! Sketch down your ideas until the software arrives!
 
OMG Kellie dont freak me out like that LOL!!!!!! I am sorry though :( totally understand how you must be feeling!!
 
Well, I was just gonna do the other stuff on my list, but the Princess just sent me a new kit, and you know that it is impossible to do ANYthing else when you have a yummmy new CT kit waiting to be used. So i downloaded GIMP. Now if I can just figure out how to use it...
