Help with PSE5 resizing!!!

I resize my LOs for the web and for some reason in my gallery they're real small?!?! Does anyone use PSE5 and know how to do this?? Any help is appreciated!! Thanks!

I do- I go to "Save for web" and make it 500x500 or if that's looking too small, 600x600 and adjust the quality slider so it's under 150kb.

I have PSE6 and I usually do File > Save for Web and make the new layout size 600x600 pixels and then move the quality slider til the file size is under 150kb (usually somewhere around 70-80 to get it this size).

Yep what they said I use PSE5. I resize my LO to 600x600, go to Save for Web, put quality around 60, and save! HTH!

Thank you ladies for helping...just one small problem still Do I need to flatten the image or something before saving for web? I usually go to image and then resize image and change the pixels there because anytime I go to resize for web no dialog box comes up?!?! Is there something I'm not doing right? If I could just get that dialog box up I would totally understand from there what I'm supposed to do by your instructions...but where is my dialog box?

I never flatten the file or resize the image before I do save for web. Sometimes it will pop up and say something about the file size being too big or something like that but I just click yes to continue and then the save for web screen comes up.
