but it's making me a bit crazy seeing all these rich celebs and what not losing their homes.. owing the IRS 3634634634 gabillion dollars in back taxes and rararah.

I have no sympathy.. wtf is wrong with them? We the common folk here, are struggling, making by on whatever we have, scrounging up enough money for groceries and what not.. PAYING OUR TAXES.. lol you know, being responsible upstanding citizens and killing ourselves to make due..

while these celebs just have to smile and look pretty and they're basically set for life, and they can't even maintain their bills,mortgages, taxes etc? It makes me ill.. I don't get it.

I totally agree. I even hate the commercials with people who are like "I owed the governemnt $400,000 but I only paid $5,000! HOORAY!" Gee, I wonder why the government never has any $$.....

Well said ladies. Somehow we all manage with WAY under what they have. I'm really starting to think $ effs you up. How many rock stars, athletes and celebs do we see that have so much money they don't know what to do with it all. They end up falling into addiction and end up in the gutter...

If I struck it rich I swear it'd be different. If nothing else, I know I have good friends and family that would kick my butt back to reality...

money can be a sick device thats for sure. the more you have, the more you want. these mega rich people for the most part don't get life. they are so clueless. spending tens of thousands on clothing, etc. whats the friggin point?! losers.

But yeah I agree that we all have to pay our fair share. Unless it's Johnny Depp. He could really be Sweeney Todd and I'd be okay with that.

I don't even get why celebs have mortgages. I mean, if I made 10 million dollars making a movie, I wouldn't buy a 30 million dollar house, I would buy a one million dollar house. Then
I wouldn't have to loan any money, and I'd still have nine million left to play with. That should last me a few months even if I had to give half of it to the taxman (or however much taxes are in America). I'm pretty sure you could get a nice house for a million dollars.

Movie stars, pro athletes....all paid entirely too much money!!! How about paying teachers even a fraction of what they make?!?!? This is a major soap box of mine. Stinkin' rich celebs can't seem to pay their taxes, but there's a good chance that our middle class taxes are about to go up to pay for health care reform. Sheez!
