Get your dirty minds out of the gutter!!!

Tropical Storm Claudette's about here. Supposed to be pretty minor. We're even going to eat at my parents' tonight right in the middle of it.

Anyone else in this area? Are ya hunkerin' down? (There's some Southern talk for ya!)

I didnt even hear anything about TS Claudette...they were talking last night on the news about TS Bill and Ana. Where are you at?

Nothing about it on our news either. Hope it's not serious when it hits your area!

I was thinking "geyser" ...

I was thinking about you last night while I was on my way to church. It's been all over our news. lol That is probably the only thing I don't miss about living in Panama City! hehe We actually got a little bit of it here in GA though. Just some rain & wind.

My sister and I were talking about the storms this morning and how funny it is that here in the South we talk about them like they're people - referring to them as "he" or "she" and when "they'll" be here. too funny.

Update: It was mostly just rain and some wind. No damage at all. Our power only flickered once. The neighborhood is a little messy, but that's because we have tons of big old oaks and the moss and sticks were blown to the ground last night.

Kresta - I live down in Tampa and I kinda wish we were getting that rain instead of you all. However, Bill and Ana can stay away!!! I've got a 10 year old that will go bonkers if she hears there is a hurricane coming. She's been going through a major fear of storms this summer. I keep praying El Nino will do it's thing and keep us storm free this season.

Hope everything is back to normal soon Kresta! Stay safe.

you know they finally had it on the news either last night or this morning. It said this storm was one of those ones that comes out of nowhere in the gulf. Im glad it wasnt anything major. Im kinda afraid of another TS because even though the winds are not bad the rain can really cause major issues. We had really bad flooding around here after TS Faye. There were parts of the highway (Hwy 50) which is a major east west road that completely flooded and had to be closed. I have pictures of that and we had over a foot of water in some places in our yard. Of course it rained for something like three days straight with that one.
