What are your favorite kid's music cds? I am not much of a singer so I never really sang to my girls much. We listen to all kinds of my music but I am beginning to think they are missing out on all those basic kid songs. lol So hook me up! :)

I like those Misty Mentioned. We use LOTS of music in my program at school and for preschool sing-slong silliness, I recommend Greg & Steve and Dr.Jean too. :)

my kids loved disney songs. Like what you see in the full length movies and I liked alot of them too so it wasnt so bad listening to them.

It started last week when we went to the library for story time.. they sang Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes and my girls looked at me like "what are they singing??" I realized that they might be missing out on something! lol

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll check them out!

We love Laurie Berkner...I think we have all her CD's.
We also have the soundtrack to Jack's Big Music Show and The Backyardigans
oh and Sesame Street

DS & I love Go Fish, they are a Christian band and sing songs more geared towards kids, but they have some Party like a Preschooler CD's that have your normal kids songs. We have all their CD's and LOVE them :)

My son has 3 CDs he loves. One is a general theme songs from PlayHouse Disney, 1 is Mickey, Minnie & Goofy singing songs with his name added in (its really cute and his favorite cause they are talking to him) and I just got him a CD of Choo Choo Soul from PlayHouse Disney.

i love those Laurie Berkner songs they play in between shows on Noggin. they are so cute! i get them stuck in my head. i should put some on my iPod for the kids when we're in the car.

My kids (both the 4 year old and the 16 month old :p) are obsessed with Laurie Berkner and Jim Gill. Jim Gill isn't your "typical" kids music. The songs are SO catchy...and fun! Emma actually listened to them last year when she was in preschool.

Well my "baby" is now 14 years old...but back in "his day" we listened to Sesame Street ... Veggie Tales ... and one other one... jeesh I can't remember it ... HOME or something like that... really upbeat.

After listening to these, Laurie Berkner, Raffi, and the 150 song cd (because kids are singing too) seem to be the ones my girls like the best. Thanks so much for the links!!
