Locker decorating..need ideas :)

so, tonight my little girl is going to her locker at the middle school and attending the locker decorating party! i am excited but sad at the same time. she is not a little girl anymore..LOL

so, i need ideas. they can use sticky tac and magnets. I have the cricut and was thinking about using it with magnet paper/sticker paper from walmart and cutting some geo shapes and flowers, ect. what other ideas can you girls help me come up with?

i'll be watching this too. dd started middle school too and she was trying to think of other stuff to decorate her locker with.

I think this is such a fun thing to let kids do...my kid's middle school will only allow mirrors and those like magnetic locker cup things for pencils and such for the door...they have crazy small lockers too not like the bigger ones I remember in high school lol

i had a small one in middle school too, meg. maddie has a high school sized one at her school. pretty cool!

cass' is small too but she is totally excited.

You know those gwady metallic punch-out shapes on wires you see around the holidays (stars around 4th of july, eggs at Easter, etc.) well, when I was in high school everyone decorated with those. lol. I don't know if you'll find any this time of year though- well maybe some halloween ones.

I sooo wish I had a picture of my locker that my b/f and I had my freshman year in high school. everyone in the school called it "the locker"- it was famous. lol. we had all kinds of awesome and funny things hanging up (but most weren't appropriate for jr. high kids and I'm sure you wouldn't want to see her hang most of it up in her locker! ) I even had my guitar amp in there (for some reason there was an outlet in our locker!) so we'd bring in guitars and jam! It was sooo awesome!
