Is that JUSTICE?

Have you read about the American man who caused Suu Kyi to stay under house arrest for another 18 months? <----link

Tell me what you think. He swam across a river, invaded her home causing her to violate the terms of her house arrest, and now she is being punished and he is getting to go home.

*I* think he is putting on a good show of crazy to stay out of jail, but he was sane enough to buy a plane ticket to Myanmar and figure out how to get into her compound.

It makes me really angry. I mean, the whole situation is awful, but now he has gone and made it worse. She was supposed to be finished with her sentence, but now she has to live under house arrest for 18 more months.

Thanks for posting this. This whole fiasco really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The worst part of it is that this guy gets to go off scotfree on so-called humanitarian grounds, whereas Suu Kyi, who is blameless in the incident, gets another 18 months in house arrest.

That is so sad and awful :(
It reminds me to be grateful that I was born with so many freedoms that others in this world are denied.
