Stupidest.movie.ever.

I've loved his other movies. Signs is in my top 10 of all time. I just thought this one sucked. The acting was bad, the storyline line, and I was sad to see Betty Buckley stoop to gore. LOL Just my opinion, mind you.

Just my opinion, mind you.

Oh for sure! I told my sister I was taking my daughter to see Hannah Montana: the movie a few months ago and she was like "oh IMDb only gives that a 2.3/10" I'm like so what? I watch the show because my daughters do and they like it and I don't find it annoying so I'm going to take her! She's a movie snob anyway who only watches Oscar caliber movies, so I don't go by her opinion ever.

I really liked the movie btw. LOL

I was disapointed, too. I thought Zooey Deschanel acted weird the whole time and didn't really fit. So I never got into the movie. The characters were all just off! And I usually really like M. Night movies!

Have you seen the Marine? or The Condemned with Stone Cold Steve Austin? They must make up the rest of the top three. When you are stuck on a 2 hour bus ride, it is hard not to watch the TV, no mmatter how awful the show is.

I thought this was the stupidest movie I've seen

August with Josh Hartnett

I thought The Condemned was pretty good, a lot better than I thought it was going to be. Maybe I just had super low expectations of it. The Marine sucked but there was enough eye candy to get me through it without throwing popcorn at the tv.

Jumper suuuucked
Watchmen was awful
and the all time worstestest movie I've ever seen was A.I. I'm still bitter about watching that entire piece of crap.

didn't mind jumper and never seen A.I. but yes agreed about Watchman!! didn't like it at all!!

I didn't think The Happening was that bad. I figured it out pretty fast, but it wasn't a waste of 2 hours for me. I did however like both AI and Jumper.

not sure I saw it but I LOVED Jumper!! Now if you want to see a stupid movie watch Surfer Dude (or something like that) it has Matthew Mccaugnahey in it and aside from seeing him with his shirt off during almost the entire movie there was absolutely nothing good about it. No I take that back the fact that it eventually ended was good :p

I did too! Guess I don't analyze movies much & have low expectations of all them!

i haven't watched The Happening yet, might just see it to see how stupid it was hehe
i liked Jumper, Watchmen was gory and comic-y (reminds me of Sin City or the Quentin T double movie--forgot the titles)
AI was okay.
For me, the stupidest is a National Lampoon movie Pledge This with Paris Hilton. Ugh. I guess I should expect that with Paris Hilton in it. Even with some nudity, DH was dozing off LOL
I should also add that we watch movies to be entertained so we have low expectations :)

Thanks for letting me know Darcy! I liked some of his earlier stuff, but lately I haven't been impressed...so I won't waste my money!

As for my all time worst movies:

The Big Lebowski
Leaving Las Vegas
Mad Dog and Glory

My dh liked the Big Lebowski though, and if I saw it again, I might reconsider, but I'm not going to waste my time even trying!

Wanna know the worst movie EVER? I think it's called Deep Water, maybe... it's the one with the couple who gets left out in the ocean... BORING!

Aw, I like The Happening. Isn't that the one with the lawn mower scene? That makes the movie.

I hate National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, but it's probably not the worst movie ever made.

Then again.....

I watched Knowing the other night with Nicholas Cage and I'd like to nominate that for the list too!

Oh, I hear you on that one!!! I was so mad because it actually started off really good to me!

I haven't seen any of the other movies mentioned in this thread so far... haven't even heard of most of them, do i live in a cave?

I personally think that Mama Mia is in the top three. Ugh, I hated that stupid, cheesy movie.

I third the Knowing - not only did the plotline make me wonder why I wasted 2 hours but the ending was ****!

I personally think that Mama Mia is in the top three. Ugh, I hated that stupid, cheesy movie.

I saw the trailer for it a couple of times... and I saw ladies on the internet going bonkers about seeing and I just really couldn't wrap my mind around it all. And I like musicals!! I won't be seeing that one, though.

YES!!!!!! This was one of the all time worst movies IMO. I HATED it and I like movies and generally don't analyze them or anything and just want to be entertained. but this was terrible.

I love musicals but didn't get what the big deal was with this movie.

And Rachael, I agree with you...Deep Water was a snooze too...and it was based on a true story....thought it could have been much better.

But the worst I've ever seen would have to be Cry-Baby w/Johnny Depp...it's the one movie I can remember walking out on.

add my vote to that too. I was wondering why I'd never heard of it before I saw it in Netflix's new releases... and then I watched and figured that out. Ugh. Hated the end. stupid.

LOL!!! Seriously when I was reading these responses, I was thinking about that movie and was surprised to read that you mentioned it! Yep, WAY WAY stupid. Hard to believe he made something of himself after that movie. LOL

I would watch johnny depp doing nothing but staring at a brick wall for two hours, maybe 3 if he's dressed like a pirate

Both The Happening and Knowing were on the same level of stupid for me but I didn't think they were THAT bad. I thought The Happening was too gory for me, I hate gore.

I liked Mamma Mia..it was like watching the musical, aren't they supposed to be cheesy? LOL I guess I thought they were, maybe not though.

My vote for stupid movies are anything American Pie-esque or gory. Blech.

Well, Knowing comes in 2nd to my WORST movie of all time which also coincidentally stars Nicholas Cage... The Wicker Man, which also started good but went horribly wrong, unbelievably fast like Knowing did.

I did too! Guess I don't analyze movies much & have low expectations of all them!

I guess I'm pretty much with you Jenn, if I haven't paid to see one at the theater I'm not expecting a lot either, lol. If I don't like it I'm out nothing and if I do like it I come out on top, lol.
I happened to like The Happening. It was a bit quirky, but then I think his movies are all that way. The movie with Mel Gibson tho was indeed fabulous and scary as well, the word that rhymes with well.,lol.

I liked The Wicker Man (surprise surprise! LOL)...didn't like the ending though.
