PSA: save as you go!

:cursing: photoshop just crashed on me.

Fortunately I did have part of the layout saved but I just did about 30 more minutes of work and now it's gone because of a program error. :thumbdown:

So a friend reminder to save as you go!

(and if anyone knows of a tool that will help with this, please let me know! PSCS2 doesn't have autosave.)

Im sorry...it does suck when you lose your work. I dont know about auto-save on photoshop. I had mine set up on PSP but it slowed my computer down so much. I just try to save whenever I see my computer is getting slower and I always restart the computer right before starting a layout.

but you posted on that thread, so maybe you already tried it? i dunno. i've been using CS3 for like 2yrs and it's never crashed on me... but PS7 used to crash all.the.time. drove me crazy!

I installed it and never set it up. And then had to rebuild my computer a couple weeks ago so it didn't get reinstalled. I didn't think I was imagining that there was such a thing. Setting it up NOW! Thank you!

when it did I restarted the layout and actually like the second one better anyway

I went 2 hours without saving once.... it ended with me in tears
