I need some technical help

A couple of weeks ago, we had an activity at our church, and I made certificates. Even though my husband "checked" them for me, it wasn't until after everyone had signed the certificates and the event was over that I realized I had misspelled a couple of words AND listed the event as happening in 2002. Who knows why.

Anyway, I tried scanning the certificates, copying & pasting the signature section into the original document & printing, but the handwriting just looks awful!

Anybody have any ideas how I can make the handwriting look realistic?

Thanks!

sounds so frustrating, Kellie! :( only thing I can think of is maybe to treat the scan of the signature like a photo and do an extraction technique to minimize the "haze" and improve the clarity?

hope it works out for you soon!

I made a project where I had kids quotes and autographs through out an album. I used the background eraser tool set to non-contiguous and saved the siggies as pngs. Transparent background. I was able to put them on my pages wherever I needed and have them printed.

can you scan the certificates and then replace the mis-spelled words and year on those rather than trying to move the signatures to a corrected file?
