Wish me luck..

Today I have 20 7-year olds coming over about 15 minutes after I come home from work.. Kaja's birthday was in the summer holidays, so we had to wait until after the holidays to have her party to make sure all her friends could come. I've been meaning to do it at a weekend, as SO is only home at weekends, but we have been so busy, so in the end I thought I'd just do it tonight to get it over with. I am so regretting it now. I was hoping my parents or brother would come around to help me entertain the kids, but I come from a family of workaholics, so of course they are all at work:thumbdown:

I was up until 2 am last night waiting for the jelly to finish, I stupidly decided to make striped jelly for dessert, so I was up at 6 this morning making the last layer...

Luckily it's sunny, so we can hopefully play some games outside after the food and cakes, anyone have any good suggestions for games that we can play that doesn't require lots of equipment?

Party is over, and it wasn't too bad - they were all pretty well behaved. Most of the kids were from her class at school, and they play really nice together. I did wish I could be in two places at once though, especially during the meal and when some of them wanted to be outside and some inside Glad it's over though, only problem is my youngest is on a sugar-high and refusing to sleep
