S/O - Deployed Loved Ones

The thread about the military made me wonder who all has loved ones who are currently deployed.

Growing up near West Point and unofficially sponsoring cadets for over a dozen years, the military has a big place in my heart. Whenever I can, I say prayers for those that we know who are deployed (currently 3 people, with another deploying soon). I would love to add your loved ones to my thoughts and prayers.

I have a good friend that I grew up with that's in Iraq right now! he's been there for over a year. Well, he came home for about 2 weeks when his dad died, but he had to go back. But, he's coming home NEXT WEEK!!!!!

My DH is currently deployed to Afghanistan. This is our first full year-long deployment, but he's been gone just over three months now so we're 25% of the way done, woohoo. Baby steps, right?

Lynnette, it was your posts in that thread that got me to thinking of who else has loved ones deployed.

Baby steps for sure! 25% is better than 0% He has been added to my prayers. I say a prayer for all those deployed, but I like to think of specific people too.
