CS4 help please!

Hello all! I have had PS elemnts FOREVER and finally got CS4 (YAY!). In elements I could just click on my layer on my layout and move it wherever,but I 've noticed in CS4 you have to go over and find the layer you want to work with and click on it in the layers pallette. This is a pain. Is there any way to be able to just click on them within your layout and move your layers around from there? Thanks for any info!

there should be an auto select box like there is in pse.. I only used the trial for cs4 for a co uple days so I don't remember where it is ^_^ hopefully someone can be more helpful.. it should be in the top bar I think though

yep, what la said. when you have the move tool selected, there's an auto-select box that needs to be checked. it's up at the top left... or at least that's where it is in CS3.
