You all I hurt my self....bad!!! **ACK** Crap I'm like a hundred month pregnant and am suppose to give birth TOMORROW and I can not stand up straight!!! I was bending down to get the lint out of the dryer and when I went to stand up my lower back popped and I couldn't straighten and I couldn't put weight on my left leg!!! :(

What the crap can I do!?!?! I don't have a chiropractor....heck I don't even have a family doctor and to boot it's a freaking Sunday afternoon!!!! :crying:

Should I call L&D!?!? Should I call my OB's after hours line!?!?! Right now I'm lying in the recliner on a heating pad set to medium......should I try and alternate with ice!?!?!

Anyone got any suggestions for me!?!?! :crying: I'm begging :(

This happened TWICE when I was like 76 months pregnant with Dom... I had to roll around on a tennis ball to loosen up whatever I "broke". Retrospectively, it doesn't seem like it was such a good idea but it worked so I dunno lol... be forewarned, it does hurt like a mofo while you do it, but soooo good after. Dunno about alternating heat/ice... a hot bath helped me though.

i'd def call SOMEONE!

i threw my back out once (while NOT preggo) and literally couldn't move... like not a lick! it took a whole day to sort itself out...

good luck sweetie!!!!

Yikes! I'd definitely be calling L&D...it'll be pretty hard to have a baby in that kind of pain on top of contractions!!

calll your ob, take whatever your ob/gyn has told you is ok for pain (tylenol I believe is what they were recomending I take when pregnant), alternate ice/heat packs every 15 minutes, take a hot shower. Being this close to l&d I wouldnt say to take a hot bath. Its not supposed to be good for the baby. Are you absolutely sure something popped in your back though? I went into labor with my son moving furniture around the living room at about 28 weeks and I couldnt hardly move because of back pain and finally went in to the hospital after nothing else helped and I was in labor.

Check with a doctor or a nurse line about that heating pad! When I hurt my neck...I put heat on it because it felt good...but it just made the inflammation get worse! My chiro always says COLD for 24 hours following an injury. ...and since you are preg you better call L&D right away for advice! Good luck!
