MozBackup is awesome!

I just d/led firefox for my new PC, ran mozbackup and tada! all my settings and bookmarks are right there! So cool!:thumbup:

Wow, that is wonderful! I just bought my Mozy this week and am in the 2 month back up process now. I am sure I will love it from all the wonderful reviews it has had here.

I gave up...I bought a whole year but it was going to take over 3 months 24/7 to get my data backed up....it slowed down our uploads and our downloads and I got a lost connection frequently overnight...and it made my 20yo ds extremely grouchy because he couldn't play his online game because it interfered with our cable connection. I asked the cable company if I upgraded to an even faster rate if it would help and the guy in tech support whispered to me ... it's not worth it, you won't see it uploading really any faster for the money.

I got so frustrated with the message about couldn't find connection overnight and NOTHING getting uploaded...it wouldn't apparently try a second time... extremely disappointed...

Not Mozy...this is just a backup for firefox..it saved all my settings from my laptop and then I was able to import them into my new browser on my new pc..so different from mozy.

I spoke too soon though b/c none of my add-ons are working..i've tried uninstalling them and reinstalling them and for some reason they won't work grr...

is Mozy an online backup service? How is it different from Carbonite?
