Hi everyone
I'm new to SSD and digital scrapping, truth be told I have NOT digi scrapped yet (eeeek) lol I just purchased a digi scrap program and was truned onto SSD from someone on another site, sooo I am so ready to dive in and start learning.
about me:
I am a happy wife to my DH and proud mommy of 10 week old twins. I want to scrap all about them and was floored by the amazing layouts in the gallery. Could it be possible for someone like untalented me to create such works of art? probably not, but I am inspired and willing to try!

You will love it here - this is one of thee best communities out there. There is so much talent here and everyone is so friendly.

There are a TON of awesome tutorials on how to get you started digi-scrapping. One of the designers here, Misty Cato, has really great ones on her blog. You can check it out HERE. That's just one that comes to mind, but I'm sure that others will have more for you.

First I want to say thank you for the very warm welcome:thumbup:
I have photo shop elements (I'm pretty sure) that I have yet to install, it was a x-mas gift that I wanted but with the pregnancy/birth and all, I have not loaded it up on my coputer, the software that I just purchased is for a stamp company that is venturing into the digi scrap industry. It is nice but omg I LOVE the stuff I am seeing on SSD, it is definately my style.
so for camera, I have a small kodak, nothing fancy, but I would love one that takes some good digital pics that I can upload, will def be looking for advise on a good camera, I know they can get really costly.

I followed a link to Misty Cato's site and am hoping her tutorials will guide me throughthe beginings...
 
Hi there and welcome! If you have PSE, I definitely recommend installing that puppy :) Thanks to the ladies who pointed you to my tuts. This one is probably the best one for getting started.

Everyone here is really helpful, so don't be afraid to ask questions. Enjoy your new addiction, uhhh, I mean 'hobby' :)
