Yes, it was so fun meeting everyone!! My DD Piper had a blast playing with Christine's (CCouch) daughter Camille...I think they're buddies now!

gorgeous weather and new friends!! a perfect afternoon!!
 
We had an absolute blast. I have a cute raccoon face now from my Austin sun LOLOL. AND....we got the last 2 wristbands for the first group for the Alton autographing tomorrow !!! I love you guys, had a blast, but glad we scooted when we did!

Thanks to all of you for coming out to meet up and have lunch. I hope you'll be able to foster a 'Sweet" playgroup/digiscrapping group now that you've met up and have gotten to know each other!
 
HA! no...we were in such a hurry when we left to get those wristbands, that we didn't have time to stop anywhere. I will live with 'old lady mary janes' that Leslie kindly approved of with a doubtful look on her face LOLOL
 
I am home now from my journey home! I had a fantastic time and so glad that I made the journey up for it.

I loved meeting everyone and can't wait to get together again. Call me....LOL
 
It was sooooo much fun meeting all the girls! Emma had a large time and apparently she and Darcy's Aidyn were making goo-goo eyes at each other. :blink: My daughter the flirt! All of our kids owned the playground.

Darcy, your shoes were just fine! I glad you were able to get those wristbands. I would have hated for you to have come and missed out on seeing Alton!
 
It was great to meet everyone & we're definitely looking forward to getting together again! Camille was completely exhausted from all her running about & having fun with the other kids :) Can't wait to see pics!!

Hey Darcy,

Is there anyone else from the DFW area? I would have loved to gone but seriously from here it was 4.75 hours one way, so unless I went for a whole weekend I just wouldn't be able to do it. But DFW is two hours away, so I was wondering if there is anything ever going on there?

You all are so beautiful btw!! Love to see all your faces (even unedited you are gorgeous!)!!

There are quite a few folks from DFW and close enough for a drive-in. We should do that!
 
I'm telling Stacy if you all do another...maybe I can get away for a couple of days...pick her up and head down south!
 
Leslie, did you end up checking out that new little shop in the shopping center? What was it like? A kids' boutique? Consignment? Do tell! :)

it was a boutique. a highly-priced one at that. they did have some really cute stuff though. she also has a portrait studio in there. she's running a fall special for a sitting fee and 2 5x7s for $49.
