Okay, so I was talking to my mom about the kids Christmas presents and she came up with the idea to buy them a Wii. We are not really gamers, except for the occasionnal Dance Dance Revolution and Rock Band/Guitar Hero game at friends and we are thinking that the Wii offers the most interesting games for kids.

So yesterday, my mom ordered this bundle on Costco.ca... :p

It comes with Wii Sports and Wii Resort and two Wii Motions.

DH would like to buy a couple more games for the boys, who are 3 1/2 and 5 1/2. Right now, I'm thinking that my oldest will play but my youngest might just watch.

So here's my question: what are your favorite games for boys those ages? And for adults?

There is no doubt that we will get Super Mario Galaxy and Super Paper Mario, but I would really like some suggestions.

Thanks! :)

they are so fun! we used to have one and i miss it. we have a PS3 now and it just sits there, lol. i hope to get a Wii again.

We love ours..not big gamers at our house either but it's a good family kind of thing for us..DS is 4 and he loves it so your 3 1/2 y/o may surprise you lol...We love Mario Kart and Wii Sports and DH downloaded a few old school mario games that DS really likes...us too lol.

We like Mario Party and that one is probably easy enough for your 3 1/2 yr old to play. DS & DH like Monster Jam. I have seen some Diego and pet ones and there are lots of other games, it just depends on what your kids are into

Rent Mario Galaxy before you buy it. It made me sick and I couldn't play it.

Mario Kart is fabulous, get that one. :)

congrats that is awesome! You def. need to pick up mario kart it's a huge hit for my son who is 4 and my daughter that is 6! Oh and Mario galaxy is fun but it's not easy like most kid games even I had issues beating it.

Mario Kart is awesome! My boys have Mater National and Cars as well as Lego Star Wars & Lego Indiana Jones. They also love the games on Wii Fit & Wii Play. The two Lego games were tricky for my then 4 year old but once he got over his frustration he loved them! I had to do the bits where you have to do a lot of leaping & if you fall off you go back to the begining but he was able to play the rest. Mario Kart gets a lot of play too
