A couple of easy (I hope) questions

Hi ~
I have been working on a couple of things tonight, and both of them have me close to tossing the PC out...:cursing:

First, I am loading up pictures in a template of me for the SJE2 Forum. I am using PSE8, and when I resize the finished product, it just loads it back up as this huge thing. I have flattened it, but I need it to be smaller so it can be seen on the forum.

Secondly, I am working on a scrapbook page with a lot of text... I want to size the text to fit the box. Is there an easy way to paste in text and have it auto size to fit the box. I have spent an hour doing line breaks and I still don't like the effect.

Am I making sense. This would be my first free form layout, and I am struggling a bit.

TIA for any help you can give me.

I'll try to help!!

When you save your template for SJE, flatten your layers and then go to Save For Web. In there you can pick your pixel x pixel size. Choose something like 550 or 600 for the width, and it will automatically size the height. It will size your template down to a decent size and save it to 72 dpi automatically.

As for your text box, as far as I know there isn't a way. I wish there was!!!

When I need text to fit in a specific area, I click, hold and drag the text tool to draw a box. Then as you type the text will automatically fill in within the confines of the box. You can adjust size, spacing and all that stuff so that it looks like what you want.

If I need my text to fit somewhere I just hold in ctrl and you can change the size in the same way you use the transform tool on images. I have PS though, not sure if it works the same in elements.
