Ugh!! Why am I shoe size dyslexic????

I ordered Ella new shoes..I printed out the sizing chart, measured her foot and ordered the size it said and they are HUGE..like she probably won't be able to wear them for a year! This is the 2nd time this has happened too! I hate living in the country sometimes where I can't just find her a pair and try them on first. UGH!

Sorry..had to vent.

I went through the same thing with my son. we live out in the country (sorta) I mean we are within driving distance of a mall but its a good 20 miles away still and even going to the mall we would have to try on a couple dozen pairs of shoes before we found one that fit properly. By that time he would be miserable.

I live right in town with tons of good shopping...but I still buy most everything on-line! EXCEPT SHOES. So I feel your pain, sister.

I tried once for my son, bought him some Stride Rites that were too dang small. Talk about a waste of money. I tried once for myself and they ended up too big. and since my feet aren't growing, had to send those back!

What's frustrating is that even if you stick to one brand, every style is different. I guess they buy them from different manufacturers so you aren't getting consistent sizing.
