it has been so quiet around here this week...where is everyone?? :)

We enjoyed a couple of fallish days but the humidity is back and it's 80 degrees and muggy again...DH took leave today and tomorrow so that means he's home for 5 days which has it's good and bad point lol..

what's everyone up to?
 
I'm on Fall Break this week! Well, today & tomorrow. We're getting ready for our first of three trick or treating nights!

I took LUke's 5 year pics today too... gotta love bribes! One of his pics is my avi now, I LOVE this pic!
 
It's been pretty cold here and I think the hibernation tendancy has kicked in...although I am busy helping my mom move. She's moving from my childhood home of 35 years into an apartment. Needless to say, it's a bit traumatic for her. Right now I'm trying to help her stay sane and not get overwhelmed by the packing.
 
We're not so easily adjusting to "stay in" weather here. Tomorrow is Emma's halloween party at school so we'll be at that.
 
I'm here!! we're FINALLY getting some cool weather out here! We all got to wear long sleeved shirts for about two days, LOL!

Dreading the time change this weekend. UGH. My son is up every morning around 6AM. With the time change this weekend he'll be up close to 5AM for a while. :( He's one of those kids that it doesn't matter when he goes to bed, he's up at the same time every day!!
 
I'm here too. Just trying to help Wes make his Wall-E costume. I begged and pleaded w/ him for me to just go and buy one, but he insisted on making it out of a box. He stayed home from school today (possible pink eye and a cough), so we've been hanging out and doing that.

Claire went to school and Sadie's been a little fussy (darn teeth). Hubby is out of town 'til Saturday.

Just trying to stay sane 'til he comes back. My MIL did come yesterday afternoon/evening and keep the kids so I could have a little bit of a break.

Oh NOOO! I didn't realize that was this week! :thumbdown: It is soo hard to get them adjusted to that new time.
 
Well, JP has today and tomorrow off so his teachers can go gamble somewhere or something. Teacher convention at a casino. So I'm keeping the boys occupied by making them clean their playroom. They won't come up for air until Sunday night, I'm sure.

I'm trying to finish my page for the DSA Fall Madness contest. Ack!

The last two days have been above tempatures (we almost hit 60!!) but a very damp wind is keeping it from feeling really nice... but given that in no time we'll be in winter, kiddo and I have been enjoying the weather. Otherwise, I'm head down getting layouts done for the weekend...
 
I noticed it's been pretty quiet around here too. I personally have been working like a mad woman trying to get all of my layouts caught up before DSD next weekend because I know there will be a ton of work this week on new release layouts.

I also have 2 articles due this weekend! Ugh....the end of the month is always crazy for me though it seems. Cram time!

Our weather here is GORGEOUS! I went out to take the mail this morning and I didn't want to come back in! :p

I've been offline a bit more this week - it's been a little hectic. My mom is now helping me out 3 days a week and she seems to keep me busy and sort of cuts in to my lounging online time. ha. I'm not really on bedrest yet but am on "limited activity" I guess so she's helping with meals and laundry and all that. 7 more weeks to 36 woo hoo!

I'm hoping to relax and scrap tomorrow and *hopefully* get to participate a little in the halloween fun this weekend. I can't walk very far so we shall see.:)
 
I was thinking this earlier too. It's been SO quiet around here lately!

I've been around, just keeping busy trying to finish up stuff before the end of the month. Somehow it always sneaks up on me. :p
 
Man I tell ya I have just been running around like a lunatic this week. Every second I have had to sit down I have been working on "freebies" that are coming soon for Penny.
 
Well, we've had a busy 4 or 5 days.
Mom drove in from Houston on Saturday.
Sunday after church we headed to the pumpkin patch/farm (long story but suffice it to say hubbies and directions...ARRRRGH). Back home for Rachel's 4th birthday party.
Monday was chores, dance class, and some sewing.
Tuesday portrait day, then we headed to the mountains to enjoy some fall colors. Drove back home Wednesday and now I'm just trying to catch up on everything!
 
I haven't mastered nursing and typing yet (darn big boobies that need two hands :o) and since my little man is in my arms almost all day long....my computer time is like non existent!!! :( :crying:
 
Fall has been kicking my butt, LOL. I feel like I haven't had a spare minute in months, and when I get a few I'm so exhausted I just want to sleep. And Lauren is getting into everything now and napping a lot less, so I don't get to sit at the computer for more than a couple of minutes during the day.

We had family here over the weekend for Jason's 6th birthday, and since they left I've been devoting all free time to finishing up my calendars. They're finally off getting printed, so I was hoping to get a LO done tonight. It'll be my first in more than a week if I succeed :( I can't wait for DSD! DH will be in charge of the kids all day, and except for nursing Lauren I'm going to be free to sit at the computer and scrap ALL DAY! I haven't gotten to do that since last DSD.
 
Getting over the stupid flu around here.. I'm finally done with all my out of town trips.. and I'm looking forward to DSD too.. so I can sit and scrap. :)
 
ugh..just busy busy busy. :( So much going on so little time, so I haven't had time to pop into forums at all lately. :( I miss everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Things have been crazy busy here too, and it doesn't look like it will be slowing down anytime soon - maybe by christmas if I'm lucky (so glad we are going away for christmas, at least I don't have to deal with all the baking and decorating).. And to top it off we've been having problems with crazy slow internet at home, so I have to check in at work, but my dad was babysitting last night and I think he fixed it - so yey for that.
 
All I can say is...I'm SO glad it is Friday! This has been the first that I've had more than 5 minutes to pop on the computer! It's been one of those weeks.
 
It has been very quiet.

I'm still getting back into the swing of skating again, and I had a sick kid home all week. Today, I have two sick kids home. It's been a long week here.
