you have found something you thought was lost forever? I ask because me and DH BOTH lost our cell phones yesterday. They are in the house somewhere, because we had them the night before. We looked in all the usual places. I even crawled around the house on my hands. We think maybe Lilly had them somewhere...but seriously I can't find them!

The freezer... or fridge. Bread box. Bathroom drawer. Toy box. YOu name it, we probably found something there that wasn't supposed to be there.
 
LOL I thought my printer was broken for the longest time. Turns out my daughter had set her ribbons for ROTC on top of the printer and they have these little metal clasps on the back of them. Well one of the clasp things came off and got jammed in the printer. I was trying to see why my printer wouldnt work because it ewas brand new and I found the clasp in it.

It is driving me crazy! One of them, the battery is dieing, so every 5 mins I hear a very faint "beep" and I have been trying to follow it...but no luck so far.
 
That stinks! I hope you find them! Maybe they're in a trick-or-treat loot bag! :p
My son always throws spoons away with yogurt or pudding... maybe the trash ?
 
I waws gonna say the trick or treat loop bags too!!! or in a toy box or under a seat cushion on the sofa! my kids are forever stuffing things in between and under the cushions!!
 
Woot!! I found them!! Between DH and I we probaby spent 3hrs searching. They were both behind the tv cabinet (where DH told me already looked...grumble grr...) One of the batteries had came off, and the other one was almost dead. We don't have a home phone, so I was so stressed not knowing where the cells phones were.

*giggles* That's where my mind went too! LOL!

Sara's JJ ALWAYS puts things in the freezer and it cracks me up. Now whenever she's looking for something I ask if she checked the freezer first :p
 
inside shoes, in the toybox, bathroom vanity, coat pocket, garbage, fridge, down the sink, in the truck, in the couch......

ETA: I just went back and noticed that you found them!!! Yay!!! Our boys are ALWAYS throwing things behind the TV too!!!
 
I found my cat in the fridge once :blink: Luckily he'd only been in there about 2 mins. I opened the fridge and he came flying out of there with a roasted chicken leg in his mouth. LOL
 
My cell phone was lost for over a week. I finally found it in the well where our mini-van middle seat clipped into the van floor. I actually reported it lost to the cell phone company because we had searched for it everywhere for so long. How about bathroom drawers that aren't used often? Good luck!

Glad you found them,

DH once lost his cell phone between the mattress and the footboard - it was lost for months (he got a new one.) We found it while moving.

Ugh, isn't that frustrating trying to find something that is lost?!! Glad that you found them! My kiddo is always putting things into containers, bags, etc...
 
Anytime we can't find anything we just ask our DD (she's 4.5yrs old), she always seems to know where everything is, even if she's not the one responsible for it being there... LOL!

I was just coming to post this. He CONSTANTLY puts things in the freezer. I have found my cell phone, the tv remote, his race cars.. you name it he's frozen it. Drives me NUTS.
