We have a rule for our son- if he doesn't eat dinner, he doesn't get a snack before bed. So our son refused to eat dinner tonight (grumpy because he didn't have a nap today) so I reminded him he won't have a snack.

me- "Well, Gunner, if you don't eat your dinner, you won't get a snack tonight"

G- "Then I'll just have some juice"

me- "nope, only water"

G- "I don't want any water. I'm done with water. I won't drink water anymore. I will just dump it out."

Ok! lol! He's a punk! :p

Haha! Devin's that way too. He told us not long ago that he's done with and doesn't deserve showers.

LOL - funny stuff!

For the last two weeks, my son's preschool class has been battling H1N1. At one point he was one of only 3 students that came to class (there are usually 14). He was upset and genuinely worried about all his sick friends so we prayed for them together and sent little cards to some of his closest friends. Anything I could do to help him cope a bit. So today nearly all the kids were back in class. When I go to pick him up Jamin he tells me it is his turn to be sick. I said, 'but you seem to be feeling just fine'. He says, "no I want to be sick so my friends will pray for me and send me treats."

LOL when my son was about six or so we were going out somewhere and I asked him if he wanted something to drink at the store. He said no. When I got back out he was crying because he wanted to go in but we werent going back in so I told him to wait until we got to where we were going. He started saying "I want water" (emphasizing different words each time) for a good ten miles. Ohhhh I was soooo aggravated at that point. He did not get the drink though until we got to where we were going and after a few minutes it stopped. Luckily they outgrow that though and tend to only have those moments once in awhile.

Ohh this was the funniest ever I think ive ever heard one of my kids say. My son was looking at the computer to see what time it was and my daughter says to him that there is a clock on the wall and he says yea but it is 12 hours slow :p I busted up laughing and it took about a minute or two for everyone else to get why that was so funny. So I hAd to explain it is a 12 hour clock and that if it was 12 hours slow or fast it would still be right LOL
